More than $6,100 in aluminum, lawn equipment, tools and other items recently was stolen from Walter Knoll Florist on Knoll Drive in the Arnold area, the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office reports.

Between 6:30 p.m. Feb. 10 and 8:30 a.m. Feb. 11, someone got inside unlocked trailers on the property and stole 1,500 pounds of scrap aluminum and aluminum framing, as well as a RedMax backpack blower, a RedMax string trimmer, a Wacker compacter, a Kobalt air compressor, a black Craftsman toolbox, a Carlyle metric socket set, a Carlyle metric wrench set, a Craftsman screw driver set, 15 Blue Hawk pliers, 10 Blue Hawk channel lock pliers, a Kobalt tape measure, two drill bit sets, two sledgehammers, a Kobalt pick axe, a 50-foot extension cord and a 25-foot air hose. In all, the items were valued at $6,145, the report said.

As of Feb. 13, the stolen items had not been recovered, and there were no suspects or arrests, said Capt. Ron Arnhart of the Sheriff’s Office.
