Pevely Police are investigating a burglary at Pevely Storage, where items valued at $11,365 in items were stolen. The items were stolen from four units at the business, 8378 Commercial Blvd. (Hwy. 61-67), Capt. Larry Miller said.
The burglary occurred overnight between Jan. 3 and Jan. 4, when someone broke into the four units and stole items from each one. The thefts were discovered about 9 a.m. Jan. 4, Miller said.
“There are four victims: a 44-year-old Festus man, a 57-year-old Pevely woman, a 66-year-old Maplewood man and a 59-year-old Festus man,” Miller said. “Items stolen include a home theater system, power tools, family photos and vehicle parts.”
He said locks and latches were found cut open at the storage units.
As of Jan. 5, none of the stolen items had been recovered and no arrests had been made, Miller said. He asks anyone with information about the burglary to call Pevely Police at 636-475-4498.
