Jewelry and electronics valued at about $13,000 recently were stolen from a home in the 4000 block of Beech Court in Imperial, the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office reports.

Between noon and 4:30 p.m. Dec. 27 someone entered the home through an unlocked door and stole 11 necklaces, 19 rings, a Polaroid computer tablet and an RCA computer tablet, the report said.

Deputies took fingerprints at the scene and submitted them as evidence, according to the report.

As of Jan. 6, the stolen items had not bee recovered, and there were no suspects or arrests, said Lt. Gary Higginbotham of the Sheriff’s Office.
