The Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the theft of a trailer from outside a home in the 2900 block of Lookout Trail west of Pevely. The black, 8-foot 2007 Carrier utility trailer, which has metal sides and a folding tailgate, was worth $795, police reported.
The victim said he last saw the trailer at about 4 p.m. April 12 and discovered it missing at about 4:30 p.m. April 13, the report said.
As of April 27, the trailer had not been recovered, and no suspects had been identified, spokesman Grant Bissell said. He asks anyone with information about the theft to call the Sheriff’s Office at 636-797-5515.
