Jennifer Lee Henry, 42, who lives in the Jefferson County portion of Fenton, allegedly was found with an illegal substance during a traffic stop. She was a passenger in a pickup that the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office deputy stopped for not having a license plates, court records show.
Henry has been charged with possession of a controlled substance, a class D felony punishable by up to seven years in prison. She was arrested on Sept. 23, and as of Sept. 25, she was being held without bond at the Jefferson County Jail in Hillsboro, according to court documents.
A deputy on Jan. 1 stopped a 2004 Chevrolet Silverado in the 200 block of Old Sugar Creek Road in Fenton. The deputy arrested Henry for outstanding warrants, and when he searched her bag, he found a crystal-like substance, according to the case’s probable-cause statement.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol on May 5 identified the substance as methamphetamine, the report said.
