Two guitars recently were stolen from a home in the 9500 block of Hwy. NN in Cedar Hill, the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office reports.
Between 9:15 a.m. and 10:29 a.m. Jan. 25, while the homeowners were away for a short time, someone forced open the front door and stole the guitars, the report said.
It looked like the culprit kicked open the door, according to the report.
A red and yellow Gibson Les Paul Deluxe six-string guitar and a black bass guitar were stolen. Together, the guitars were valued at $8,200, the report said.
As of Jan. 29, the guitars had not been recovered, and there were no suspects or arrests, said Lt. Gary Higginbotham of the Sheriff’s Office.
He asks anyone with information about the burglary to call the Sheriff’s Office tip line at 636-797-5515.
