A motorcycle was stolen from the lot where some of the Fox C-6 School District’s buses typically are parked. One of the district’s bus drivers owns the red and white 2018 Suzuki Hayabusa, which is worth about $15,000, Arnold Police reported.
Surveillance video allegedly showed two men steal the motorcycle at 2:52 p.m. Dec. 13. The men were seen getting out of a dark colored Chrysler 300 at the Fox C-6 Service Center, 849 Jeffco Blvd., and then taking the 54-year-old St. Louis man’s motorcycle, the report said.
Arnold Police tracked the motorcycle to south St. Louis after its license plates were detected by St. Louis Police cameras that monitor license plates.
Two St. Louis detectives saw footage that showed the motorcycle on Dec. 16 traveling on Gravois Avenue near Chippewa Street, but officers could not get to the area before they lost sight of the motorcycle, according to the report.
As of Dec. 22, the motorcycle had not been recovered, and no suspects had been identified, Cpl. Brett Ackermann said. Anyone with information about the motorcycle should call Arnold Police at 636-296-3204.
