If you are 16 or younger and find yourself in Eureka at night, keep an eye on the clock because the Police Department is.
Eureka Police issued curfew violations to six minors at about 12:06 a.m. March 18, Lt. David Wilson said.
The violation occurred in the 600 block of Southern Hills Drive in the Legends Subdivision.
“We use unmarked cars in a subdivision looking for people breaking into cars. It is a surveillance for thefts,” Wilson said. “When they come across minors late at night, we will stop them and charge them with a curfew violation.”
Curfew for those 16 or younger in Eureka is 11 p.m. on weekdays and midnight on weekends, Wilson said.
