Eureka Police arrested a 32-year-old Pacific woman after seeing her vehicle parked on a road behind the QuikTrip gas station, 190 E. Fourth St., that leads to the Walgreens pharmacy. When the officer first saw the car, none of its lights were on, police reported.

The officer told the woman to turn off the car’s engine, and she did. The woman appeared to be intoxicated, and she failed field sobriety tests, according to the report.
The woman was arrested and taken to the Police Station, where she was booked and released to a sober driver.
The woman was issued a summons to appeared in Eureka Municipal Court for alleged DWI, Chief Michael Werges said.
