Two women lost electronic devices worth more than $2,300 when they were stolen from their hotel rooms at the Holiday Inn St. Louis West at Six Flags, 4901 Six Flags Road, in Eureka. The items were stolen between about 3:30 p.m. and 3:50 p.m. March 22, Eureka Police reported.
A 53-year-old St. Louis woman and a 30-year-old Florissant woman said they had left their adjoining rooms to go to the front desk, and when they returned to their rooms, the items were missing. They also said the room’s sliding glass doors that led to the pool area were unlocked, the report said.
The 53-year-old said an HP laptop computer and an iPad 8 were stolen from her room, and the 30-year-old said a Nintendo Switch video game system was stolen from hers. Altogether, the items were valued at $2,303, according to the report.
As of March 25, none of the stolen items had been recovered, and no suspects had been identified, Lt. Michael Werges said. Anyone with information about the incident should call Eureka Police at 636-938-6600.
