The Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office has identified a 34-year-old Cuba man as a suspect after a pickup, trailer and mower stolen in High Ridge were recovered in St. Louis County.
The victim said at about 4:30 a.m. July 31, he parked his 2006 Chevrolet Silverado that had a 6-foot utility trailer with a Ferris lawnmower in his driveway in the 4400 block of Rock Creek Valley Road, the report said.
The man said the pickup with the attached trailer and mower were gone when he returned home at about 3 p.m. that day. He also said the pickup was not locked and the keys were inside, according to the report.
The Sheriff’s Office does not report estimated values for stolen vehicles or items.
As of Monday, the suspect had not been charged for the alleged theft, spokesman Grant Bissell said.
