A laptop computer, purse, cash and other items recently were stolen from an unlocked vehicle parked in a garage in the 400 block of Winter Bluff Drive in the Fenton area. The theft happened between 6 p.m. and 7 p.m. April 3, while the garage door was left open, the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office reports.
A Hewlett-Packard laptop computer and a silver Ivanka Trump purse was stolen out of the vehicle, along with credit cards and about $100 in cash. In all, the items were valued at $2,290, the report said.
As of April 14, the stolen items had not been recovered, and there were no suspects or arrests, Cpl. Matthew Moore said. Anyone with information about the theft is asked to call the Sheriff’s Office tip line at 636-797-5515.
