woman in handcuffs

A 35-year-old Arnold woman wanted on outstanding warrants for felony drug charges recently was arrested after being pulled over in Arnold for traffic violations, says Arnold Police Detective Sgt. James Jones.

At 12:40 a.m. May 28, an Arnold Police officer stopped the woman in the 1900 block of Richardson Road for traffic violations, including driving with a suspended license. The woman provided false information about her identity, but once she was correctly identified, the officer discovered she was wanted on the felony warrants, Arnold Police reported.

She was wanted in both Jefferson County and St. Louis County on outstanding warrants for felony drug charges. Arnold Police booked her and issued her summonses to appear in Arnold Municipal Court for the traffic violations and for false declaration. Then, she was held for the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office, Jones said.
