Quinton Johnathan Lee Peters, 22, of Arnold has been accused of attacking a woman and child at home in the 2700 block of Tiara Drive in Arnold. He attacked the two because he found out someone had sold his Xbox due to his alleged infidelities, according to court documents.
Peters on Sept. 8 was charged with first-degree domestic assault, a class B felony punishable by five to 15 years in prison; and first-degree endangering the welfare of a child, a class D felony that carries a penalty of up to seven years in prison, court records said.
As of Sept. 11, Peters was being held without bond at the Jefferson County Jail in Hillsboro, court documents show.
According to a probable-cause statement filed by Arnold Police, Peters arrived at the home at about 11:34 p.m. Sept. 7 and grabbed the woman by the shirt and threw her on a bed.
The child, who is younger than 17, attempted to help the woman, but Peters threw the child on the bed too, the report said.
Peters then allegedly lifted the woman by her throat and pinned her to a wall. He banged her head against the wall before dropping her, according to the report.
The woman refused medical treatment, and the child was not injured, the report said.
