A 27-year-old Arnold woman recently showed up at the Arnold Police Department asking for help to remove handcuffs she somehow got stuck on her wrists.
Officers were able to remove them, and during the process, discovered the woman was wanted in Arnold on outstanding warrants for parking violations, Arnold Police Capt. Robert Ruckman said.
The incident occurred about 3:15 p.m. June 14.
Ruckman said he didn’t know how the woman got handcuffs on her wrists but it wasn’t because of an arrest.
He said most handcuff keys work on many cuffs and that’s how the officers were able to remove the woman’s.
After her own handcuffs were removed, she was arrested and held until she posted a $325 bond tied to the parking violations, Ruckman said.
