Arnold Police are trying to identify a suspect who stole a pickup from outside a home in the 2000 block of Richardson Road. The 2004 Ford F-250 was recovered in St. Clair County, Ill., four days after it was stolen, police reported.
A 65-year-old Arnold man said he parked his pickup in his driveway at about 11 p.m. Aug. 10. He reported the pickup stolen at about 8:30 a.m. Aug. 11, the report said.
When the pickup was recovered in Illinois, no one was inside it and the ignition was damaged. An estimate for the damage was not reported.
As of Aug. 17, no suspects had been identified, and the pickup was still being processed and had not been returned to its owner, Detective Lt. Jeremy Christopher said. He asks anyone with information about the theft to call Arnold Police at 636-296-3204.
