Arnold Police are working with two other police agencies to find a 35-year-old St. Louis man suspected of stealing alcohol from multiple convenience stores in the region, Detective Lt. Jason said.
The suspect allegedly stole more than $2,000 worth of alcohol from three Arnold businesses between May 20 and June 7. The suspect is described as Black, 5-foot-7-inches tall and weighing about 150 pounds. He was seen driving to most of the convenience stores in a white Ford Fusion with no license plates, Valentine said.
The man was arrested June 2 by Maryland Height Police for allegedly committing a similar theft in that jurisdiction, and he allegedly committed similar crimes in Creve Coeur. After his June 2 arrest, the suspect allegedly agreed to turn himself into Arnold Police, Valentine said.
Instead, it appears the man committed two more thefts in Arnold on June 7. He allegedly stole $181.95 worth of alcohol at about 8:55 p.m. June 7 from the Mobile on the Run gas station, 3611 the West Outer Road, and at about 10 p.m. that day, he also allegedly stole $98 worth of liquor from Walgreens, 3937 Vogel Road, Arnold Police reported.
The man reportedly has stolen alcohol twice from the Mobile on the Run on the West Outer Road, twice from the Walgreen on Vogel Road and four times from CVC, 2120 Lone Star Drive, Valentine said.
He said the suspect had not turned himself in, and police had not located him as of June 23. Anyone with information about the man’s location should call Arnold Police at 636-296-3204.
