Arnold Police are investigating a 19-year-old Fenton woman’s claim that her ex-boyfriend assaulted her and her current boyfriend in Arnold. The incident occurred at about 8:50 p.m. Nov. 17 at Ems Glen Lane and Long Glen Lane, the police report said.
The woman and a 21-year-old St. Louis man were in a parked 2017 Acura at the intersection when a 19-year-old Fenton man pulled up behind their car in a Chevrolet Cobalt, the report said. The 19-year-old man allegedly pulled the 21-year-old from the car and began punching him, and struck the female in the face when she got out of the Acura.
After the incident, the Fenton man fled the area. The Fenton woman and St. Louis man had bumps and bruises on their faces and upper arms, but they refused medical attention, the report said.
Detective Lt. James Jones said police had applied for warrants for assault in the fourth degree, and as of Wednesday (Nov. 29), the Fenton man had not been arrested.
