Arnold Police are investigating the theft of four 22-inch tires that were stolen from outside a home in the 2200 block of Maxville Lane. A 23-year-old Arnold man reported the theft four days after the tires were taken, police reported.
A 23-year-old Arnold man called police at about 12:30 a.m. May 13 to report the theft, which is believed to have occurred before May 9. The report did not say why the man did not report the tires being stolen earlier.
Arnold Police did report that the man said he saw the tires listed for sale on Facebook Marketplace. However, the listing is no longer on the website.
The value of the stolen tires was not reported.
As of May 21, none of the tires had been recovered, and no suspects had been identified, Detective Lt. Jeremy Christopher said. He asks anyone with information about the stolen tires to call Arnold Police at 636-296-3204.
