A 23-year-old Arnold man recently was arrested for allegedly forging a check that had been stolen and cashing it for $80 at US Bank, 1543 Jeffco Blvd., in Arnold. He cashed the check on July 18 and was arrested at about noon on July 20, Arnold Police report.
The man already was wanted on outstanding warrants in Jefferson County for driving while intoxicated and in Byrnes Mill for having an open container of alcohol, Capt. Bill Bonsack said.
The man was booked and then turned over to the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office. Arnold Police will seek felon charges against him through the Jefferson County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office, Bonsack said.
