A 22-year-old Arnold man has been arrested for alleged possession of methamphetamine. He was arrested while walking around Weedel Drive and Sun Valley South in Arnold, according to Arnold Police.

At 6:44 p.m. Oct. 19, Arnold Police got a call that the man was in the area acting suspiciously. When officers arrived, they found the man there, and he was carrying a trash bag, Detective Lt. James Jones said.

He said the man also was found with meth and some drug paraphernalia. The man was booked and released pending application for warrants, Jones said.

Arnold Police will seek felony drug charges against the man through the Jefferson County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office. As of Nov. 10, no charges had been filed, Jones said.
