The Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the theft of appliances and other items from a construction site where a home is being built in the 500 block of Arctic Wolf Drive in Imperial, spokesman Grant Bissell said.
Employees from G’Sell Homes of Imperial, which is building the house, said someone entered the home through an unlocked garage door overnight between Jan. 6-7. An oven, dishwasher and lighting worth, altogether about $2,840, were stolen, the report said.
As of Jan. 14, none of the stolen items had been recovered, and no suspects had been identified, Bissell said. He asks anyone with information about the incident to call the Sheriff’s Office at 636-797-5515.
