Thieves stole approximately $5,000 in tools from an unlocked work truck parked outside a home in the 2400 block of Golden Gate Drive in Imperial. The incident was reported about 3:10 a.m. Dec. 29, the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office reported.
Several power tools were stolen from the work truck. As of Jan. 9, none of the stolen items had been recovered and there had been no arrests, Sgt. Matthew Moore said.
