Fox High School is celebrating homecoming this week.

The varsity football game will be at 7 p.m. tonight (Sept. 21) at Fox High, 751 Jeffco Blvd., in Arnold, where the Fox Warriors will take on the Oakville Tigers. The public is invited and the cost to attend is $5 for adults and $1 for students.

The Warriors are currently 4-0, so it should be a good game, said David Pleimann, the school’s Student Council sponsor.

This afternoon the homecoming court will be introduced at a pep assembly in the high school gymnasium and students will honor the seniors who participate in fall sports.

Then, before the football game, the homecoming court will be introduced again.

The homecoming court includes freshman Brie Ulm and Carson Keisker, and Sarah Allen and Aiden Schaeffer; sophomores Macy Moyers and Shawn Reaves, Annabel Friedman and Chase Maxey, and Evelyn Moshi and Ryan Bennett; juniors Brandi Bradford and Tim LaPlant, Courtney Hutson and Savion Broussard, Alyssa O’Neill and Connor Frisch; seniors Reagan Mullins and Luke Joggerst, Amie Schubert and Matthew Abeyta, Ashley D’Amico and Jack Vilchis, Sydney Fisher and Cade Thomas, Sydney Adamec and Jake Sheppard and Sara Riley and Liam Helfrich.

A homecoming dance will be held for students from 7-10:30 p.m. Saturday (Sept. 22) at the high school. The dance has a Hollywood theme this year, Pleimann said.

Students may still buy a ticket today for $10. At the door, tickets will cost $15, he said.

Students vote for their homecoming king and queen when they purchase their tickets and the royalty will be crowned at the homecoming dance.

“We usually have 1,200 or so students attend so it’s a pretty big dance,” Pleimann said.
