Don't let the rain keep you away and miss out on the chance for some fun and big prizes at the De Soto Senior Expo, set for 8 a.m. to noon Wednesday, April 20, at the Knights of the Columbus Hall, 13225 Hwy. E.
The event is open to those 50 and older and will include free coffee and doughnuts while supplies last, as well as free bingo and music. There will be speakers and a variety of vendors on hand to provide information about the services and products they offer senior citizens.
Many of the vendors will offer giveaways. The Leader, which sponsors the expo, will give away a grand prize that includes tours of Missouri's National Veterans Memorial in Perryville, as well as other Perryville landmarks. The prize also will include a meal at Mary Jane Burger and Brews in Perryville.
