The Arnold Garden Club is seeking volunteers to help plant greenery at Arnold City Hall, 2101 Jeffco Blvd., on Saturday, Sept. 29. The volunteers are needed from 9 a.m. to noon.

Anyone who is a gardener or who wants to learn about gardening is invited to help with the project, said organizer Joe McKee, one of the founders of the Garden Club.

He said people of all ages are welcome.

“Folks will be digging holes and planting perennial flowers and shrubs,” he said. “If they are unfamiliar with gardening, we are willing to teach.”

The Arnold Beautification Commission is funding the project, McKee said.

He said this will be the Garden Club's fifth planting in the past two and a half years. Other projects were at City Hall and on the Fox schools campus in Arnold.
