William R. Balon, 37, of Hillsboro was injured Thursday morning, March 21, in a one-vehicle accident on Glade Chapel Road west of Hillsboro House Springs Road north of Hillsboro, the Missouri State Highway Patrol reported.
At 8:04 a.m., Balon was driving an eastbound 1987 Chevrolet S-10 when he ran off the right side of the road and struck a tree and a driveway, the report said.
He was moderately injured and taken by Big River Ambulance to Mercy Hospital South in St. Louis County.
Balon was not wearing a seat belt, the patrol reported.
The pickup was extensively damaged, the report said.
