A St. Louis man was seriously injured early this morning (Sept. 12) in a motorcycle wreck on Hwy. 61-67 at Telegraph Road in Arnold, the Missouri State Highway Patrol reported.
At 1:25 a.m., Levi A. Barnhart, 28, of St. Louis was riding a 2003 Honda CBR900 north on the highway and he ran off the east side of the road at the intersection with Telegraph Road, and the motorcycle struck a raised concrete median and overturned, and he was ejected. Then, the bike slid and struck a utility pole and a tree, the report said.
Barnhart was taken by Rock Township Ambulance to Barnes-Jewish Hospital in St. Louis.
He was wearing a helmet, the patrol reported.
The motorcycle was totaled, the report said.
