Arnold Police recently arrested a 37-year-old Overland man for suspicion of driving while intoxicated following a wrong-way accident at Missouri State Road and Karpos Street. Fortunately, no one was hurt in the accident, Detective Lt. James Jones said.
At 1:20 a.m. March 28, the St. Louis man was driving in the wrong lane on Missouri State Road and struck another vehicle head on. A pole alongside the road also was struck and damaged during the accident, Jones said.
He said the man refused to take a breath test, but he was arrested for an alleged DWI. He was booked, issued a summons to appear in Arnold Municipal Court and released, Jones said.
