A De Soto man was injured in a motorcycle crash Monday, Jan. 1, on Hwy. 67 north of Desloge in St. Francois County, the Missouri State Highway Patrol reported.
At 12:30 p.m., Samuel A. Kendrick, 36, was riding a southbound 2014 Victory Cross Country Tour, which reportedly malfunctioned, causing it to travel off the west side of the road and overturn, ejecting Kendrick, the report said.
Kendrick was moderately injured and taken by private conveyance to Parkland Health Center North in Bonne Terre, the report said.
According to the report, Kendrick was wearing a state-approved safety helmet and the motorcycle was moderately damaged.
