An Imperial woman and an Imperial man were hurt Thursday afternoon (April 11) in a two-vehicle accident at Old Lemay Ferry Road and Double Tree Drive in Imperial, the Missouri State Highway Patrol reported.
At 4:10 p.m., Alyssa D. McQuerrey, 18, of Imperial was driving a 2016 Ford Fusion south on Old Lemay Ferry Road and turned into the path of a northbound 2018 Chevrolet Equinox, and the front of the Fusion struck the driver-side of the Equinox, the report said.
Christopher A. Fredendall, 36, of Imperial was driving the Equinox.
McQuerrey had minor injuries and was taken by private conveyance to Mercy Hospital South in south St. Louis County, the report said.
However, the hospital had no information about her, a hospital spokesman said today (April 12).
Fredendall was moderately hurt and taken by Rock Township Ambulance to Mercy Hospital South, where he was treated and released, the spokesman said.
Both drivers were wearing seat belts, the patrol reported.
The two vehicles were extensively damaged, the report said.
