Konner D. Bolhofner, 20, of Imperial was seriously hurt in a one-car accident that happened at 12:30 p.m. Tuesday (Aug. 2) on Binning Road east of Lions Den Road in Imperial, the Missouri State Highway Patrol reports.
Bolhofner was driving a 1999 Saturn SL west on Binning Road and failed to negotiate a curve before the car ran off the left side of the road, struck a traffic sign and then continued across a grassy field before coming to rest, the report said.
He was taken by Rock Township Ambulance to St. Anthony’s Medical Center in south St. Louis County, where he was treated and released, a hospital spokesman said this afternoon (Aug. 4).
It’s unknown if Bolhofner was wearing a seat belt, the patrol reported.
The car sustained moderate damage, the report said.
