A House Springs woman was killed in a single-car accident early Sunday morning (Aug. 22) on Hwy. 141 south of Hwy. 21 in the Springdale area between Arnold and Fenton.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported that Brittany Uzell, 24, was driving a 2017 Honda Civic at a high rate of speed north on Hwy. 141 at Ellis Grove Parkway near Ridgewood Middle School at 1:44 a.m. when she lost control and the Honda went off the right side of the road and hit a light post.
She was pronounced dead at the scene at 2:03 a.m. by emergency responders.
She was not wearing a seat belt, the report said. The Honda was totaled.
