Dustin L. Robison, 24, of Hillsboro was hurt Wednesday afternoon (Feb. 6) in a one-vehicle accident on Hwy. 21 south of Vineland School Road south of De Soto, the Missouri State Highway Patrol reported.
At 3:42 p.m., Robison was driving a 2000 Chevrolet pickup south on Hwy. 21, and the pickup began sliding and ran off the left side of the road, where it struck a utility pole, the report said.
He was moderately injured and taken by Valle Ambulance to Mercy Hospital South in south St. Louis County, where he was treated and released, a hospital spokesman said.
Robison was not wearing a seat belt, the patrol reported.
The pickup was totaled, the report said.
