A Hillsboro man and a Wright City man were injured in a single-vehicle accident Saturday (Feb. 6) in Warren County.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported that Keagan Chapman, 27, of Hillsboro was driving a 1998 Chevrolet S-10 west on the I-70 North Outer Road east of Schneider Lane east of Warrenton and west of Wright City at 5:25 p.m. when he began to slide and drove off the left side of the road, where the pickup truck hit a utility pole, then a stand of small trees and brush.
Chapman and a passenger in the truck, David Boldt, 39, of Wright City, each sustained moderate injuries and were treated at the scene by medical personnel and declined to be taken to a hospital.
Both were wearing seat belts, the report said. The truck was totaled.
