Willis B. Rayburn, 44, of High Ridge was seriously injured Tuesday afternoon (May 11) in a motorcycle accident on Hillsboro Valley Park Road near Harter Farms Manor north of High Ridge, the Missouri State Highway Patrol reported.
At 1:25 p.m., Rayburn was riding a 2005 Big Dog Ridgeback south on Hillsboro Valley Park Road, lost control of the motorcycle, and it overturned onto its left side and slid off the right side of the road and struck a ditch, the report said.
North Jefferson County Ambulance transported Rayburn to Mercy Hospital South in south St. Louis County. An update on his condition was not available this afternoon (May 12).
Rayburn was wearing a helmet, according to the report.
The motorcycle was totaled, the Highway Patrol reported.
