Angelina N. Drago, 25, of Fenton was seriously hurt Tuesday afternoon (July 11) when she was riding a bicycle south on Main Drive at Valley Lane in High Ridge and a car pulled into the path of the bike, the Missouri State Highway Patrol reports.
At 9:15 p.m., Connie L. Stubits, 56, of High Ridge was driving a 2014 Chevrolet Sonic north on Main Drive and while turning left onto Valley Drive, pulled into the bike’s path, and the bike struck the front of the car, the report said.
No injuries were reported for Stubits.
Drago was taken by ambulance to St. Anthony’s Medical Center in south St. Louis County, where she was treated and released, a hospital spokesman said this afternoon (July 12).
She was not wearing a helmet. Stubits was wearing a seat belt, the patrol reported.
The car was moderately damaged, the report said.
