A 67-year-old Dittmer man was arrested for suspicion of driving while intoxicated following a one-vehicle accident that happened Saturday night (Nov. 11) on Hwy. C north of Butcher Branch Road in the Hillsboro area. The man was hurt in the accident, the Missouri State Highway Patrol reports.
At 10:15 p.m., the man was driving a 2015 Ford F250 north on Hwy. C, and the pickup ran off the right side of the road and struck a ditch, the report said.
The man was moderately injured and taken by Valle Ambulance to St. Anthony’s Medical Center in south St. Louis County, according to the report.
He was not wearing a seat belt, the patrol reported.
The pickup was moderately damaged, the report said.
The highway patrol arrested the man at the hospital and released him pending application for warrants, according to the report.
