A De Soto man was hurt after his motorcycle wiped out on Hwy. 61 in Ste. Genevieve County early Saturday evening (Oct. 14).
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported that Gary Pinson, 58, was riding a 2007 Harley Davidson FXD north on Hwy. 61 south of the Jefferson County line at 6:08 p.m. when he ran off the right side of the road and his motorcycle overturned.
Pinson sustained serious injuries and was taken by Survival Flight helicopter to Mercy Hospital St. Louis in Creve Coeur, the report said.
An update on his condition was not available.
Pinson was wearing a helmet, the report said; the motorcycle was damaged moderately.
