Car runs into Arnold gas station

No one was injured when a car drove through a window in a gas station.

A car drove through a front window next to the entrance of the Mobil on the Run gas station, 3611 W. Outer Road, this morning. No one was injured, and there was no structural damage to the building, authorities reported.

A 52-year-old Arnold woman drove into the gas station at about 6:45 a.m. She told investigators the gas pedal became stuck in the Infiniti G37 she was driving when she was pulling into a parking space in front of the convenience store, Arnold Police reported.

Detective Lt. Jeremy Christopher said Arnold Police were not releasing the name of the driver this afternoon because the accident report had not been approved.

He said the incident was ruled as an accident and a building inspector reported there was no structural damage to the building.

The Rock Community Fire Protection District said in a Facebook post that the gas station planned to reopen today, Nov. 22, after it boarded the broken window and cleaned the debris from the accident.

Arnold Police reported the Infiniti was towed from the business.
