Angela D. Foster, 39, of Barnhart was injured Monday morning (Dec. 3) after a tire blew out on the pickup she was driving on Hwy. M west of St. Luke’s Church Road in Barnhart, the Missouri state Highway Patrol reported.
When the left rear tire blew out at about 10:50 a.m., Foster lost control of the westbound pickup, a 2012 Chevrolet Silverado, and it overturned, the report said.
She was moderately injured and transported by Rock Township Ambulance to Mercy Hospital South (formerly St. Anthony’s Medical Center) in south St. Louis County, where was treated and released, a hospital spokesman said this morning (Dec. 4).
Foster was wearing a seat belt, the patrol said.
The pickup was totaled, the report said.
