A woman and two teenagers, all of Arnold, were hurt this morning (Aug. 24) in a two-vehicle accident on Hwy. 141 at Hwy. 21 west of Arnold, the Missouri State Highway Patrol reported.

At 11:45 a.m., Jessica P. Dugger-Schmidt, 40, of Arnold was in a northbound 2012 Honda Odyssey making a left turn, and Collin J. Hodo, 20, of Kirkwood, driving a southbound 1999 Jeep Grand Cherokee, reportedly failed to stop at a red light, and the Jeep struck the side of the van, according to the patrol.

No injuries were reported for Hodo.

However, Dugger-Schmidt was moderately hurt, and two passengers in the van – Emily T. Dugger-Schmidt, 18, and Rebecca L. Schmidt, 14 – sustained minor injuries.

All three were taken by Rock Township Ambulance to SSM Health St. Clare Hospital in Fenton, the report said.

All those involved in the accident were wearing seat belts, the patrol reported.

The van was extensively damaged, and the Jeep had minor damage, the report said.
