1 1/2 cups chopped pecans

1 cup coconut

1 package (8 ounces) cream cheese, softened

2 sticks butter, softened

2 cups powdered sugar

1 Betty Crocker German chocolate cake mix

Grease and flour a 9-by-13 baking pan. Combine pecans and coconut; spread evenly in bottom of prepared pan. In a bowl, beat cream cheese, butter and powdered sugar till fluffy; spread over top of pecan/coconut mixture. Prepare cake batter according to package directions; pour over cream cheese mixture. Bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes. Cool 12 minutes. Then loosen cake along the edges and flip into another 9-by-13 pan.
