Robert Hilkemeyer of Pevely said his dog, Wilson, likes to toss around his toys, but then needs help retrieving them.
“When he plays with his toys and he throws them up in the air, they usually land where he can’t get to them and he’ll be looking around for them,” he said.
Wilson, 8, is a Shih tzu-poodle mix.
Wilson is a good companion.
“He never leaves my side and always makes me laugh,” Hilkemeyer said. “He’s a snuggle bug and always makes me feel better when I am down.”
Wilson has an agreeable personality, but may take a bit to warm up to someone new.
“He gets along with other people and pets, once he gets to know them,” he said. “He’s my best friend.”
