I took this photo of my sister’s dog, Trixie, in October 2014. She was 1 at the time and dressed for Halloween. The photo was taken in my backyard with my fall decorations, which include some scarecrows. Trixie doesn’t bother the decorations, but she likes to smell them.
Trixie is a Coton de Tulear. She lives in Festus with my sister.
I don’t have pets myself, so I like it when Trixie visits. She likes the visits, too, because my sister doesn’t have a fenced-in her yard and I do. At my sister’s, Trixie has to be walked on a leash. Here, though, she can run loose in the yard.
She loves to chase the squirrels in my yard.
