Natasha Maher of Cedar Hill said her three French bulldogs provide her and her husband, Charles, a lot of entertainment.
“They’re kind of like class clowns,” Maher said. “Stella is more laid back, but will have a burst of energy. The two boys are very energetic.”
Stella is 4 1/2, Johnny Cash is 2, and Tater Tot, the son of Stella and Johnny Cash, is 1, Maher said.
She said getting French bulldogs was, in part, an economic decision.
“My husband likes bulldogs, and French bulldogs are cheaper than English bulldogs in daily maintenance,” Maher said. “There’s less upkeep with French bulldogs.”
She said Stella, Johnny Cash and Tater Tot enjoy being arounds humans.
“They definitely love people,” Maher said. “They jump up on them. They’re not very well-behaved dogs.”
