A Bloomsdale Bank branch is coming to Festus.
The new 3,970-squre-foot branch will be built at 1309 Shapiro Drive in the Festus Commerce & Business Center south of Hwy. A and west of I-55.
Bloomsdale Bank officials plan a groundbreaking ceremony on April 18.
Sarah Ross, who is slated to be the bank’s Festus branch manager, said construction of the new bank is expected to be completed this fall.
“We’re hoping before the end of the year, maybe October-November,” she said. “It will be a full-service branch with drive-through lanes, an ATM and tellers.”
Ross said the site where the bank will be built is next to the Stifel investment service office.
Bloomsdale Bank already has branches in Jefferson County, one in Crystal City and another in Herculaneum, as well as ones in Bloomsdale and Ste. Genevieve.
