Susan Nesbitt, 64, of Arnold died Jan. 25, 2021, at Mercy Hospital South in St. Louis County. Mrs. Nesbitt was retired from the Ford Motor Co. and was a homemaker. She enjoyed road trips and vacations with her sister and get-togethers with family, and she also liked decorating, gardening and going to happy hours with her husband and friends. She also loved shopping and spending time with her granddaughters. Born March 9, 1956, in St. Louis, she was the daughter of the late Ruby (Young) and Neshan Onanian.
She is survived by her husband of 47 years: David Nesbitt of Arnold; one son: Chris (Tiffany) Nesbitt of Festus; a sister: Patricia Onanian of Arnold; a brother: James (Dawn) Onanian of House Springs; two granddaughters; Halei and Elizabeth Nesbitt of Festus; a sister-in-law: Mary Onanian of Meridianville, Ala., and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by a sibling: Alexander Onanian; and her father-in-law and mother-in-law: Joseph and Glenna Nesbitt.
A private memorial service for family is planned, and celebration of life will be held in Arnold at a later date for others to attend.
