Former Festus car wash manager accused of possessing child porn

A man who was working as a manager at the Club Car Wash, 638 N. Creek Drive, in Festus, has been accused of possession of child pornography. He allegedly uploaded the images to the corporate website from his cell phone, court records show.

Nicholas Christian Lee, 23, of St. Louis has been charged with one count of child pornography of more than 20 images and four counts of first offense possession of child pornography, all felonies. He was arrested on March 27, and as of Tuesday, March 31, he was being held without bond at the Jefferson County Jail in Hillsboro, court and jail records said.

Lee allegedly uploaded photographs of child porn to the car wash company’s corporate website while working at the Festus location on Nov. 16 through Nov. 18, 2025, according to a probable-cause statement filed by the Festus Police.

Lee’s phone was analyzed by the St. Charles County Police Internet Crimes Against Children division. Investigators allegedly found 206 images and one video of child pornography, the report said.
