Grandview senior Catherine Wakeland set school records a the Jefferson track and field meet Tuesday when she ran the 100-meter dash in 12.58 seconds and the 200 in 26.35. Wakeland won medals in the 100 and 300 hurdles at the Class 2 state championships last May. She recorded more than 1,000 career points on the school’s basketball team.
